I connect what most people keep separate.
Stage rigger, live audio engineer and DJ turned network engineer, turned executive who fractionally builds teams, fixes broken process, and ships automation and AI for enterprises — while serving as an Assistant Fire Chief & EMT, sailing and boating the Carolina coast, and being present for my family.
Four current versions of the same person
Each of these is a live, present-tense role — not a résumé line. Pick the one you came here for.
Father
The role that outranks all the others. Coaching, showing up, and teaching my kids to sail the same Sunfish I learned on as a Scout.

Things shouldn’t be difficult. When something is — a process, a handoff, a piece of gear, an org chart — I zoom in until I find the actual root cause, then zoom out until I understand the real goal and the real constraints. The fix usually isn’t more effort. It’s a smaller, smarter change made once, upstream, so nobody has to make the same decision under pressure again.
That habit came from a catwalk, not a classroom.
“A small impact to me could lead to a greater benefit for the whole.” On learning every department in a touring show
From the rigging plot to the network diagram
Twenty-plus years across live entertainment, enterprise networking, and organizational strategy — each stop taught the same lesson from a different angle.

Network to Code
Helping build and grow NTC while fractionally delivering transformation: new teams, process analysis, org design, single-source-of-truth data sync, and automation & AI delivery for large enterprises — including one of the largest Fortune 100 global financial institutions.
Everything above exists to support the people at home. That includes teaching the next generation of Scouts to rig a Sunfish the same patient way I was taught.
Present tense, on purpose
I built a career out of learning enough about every department to make things easier for the whole system. At home, that means showing up: coaching, boating, and helping raise my kids around the water and the outdoors — the same values I picked up as a Boy Scout, and now help pass on as a leader in our troop.
